Having a parent with type 2 diabetes and seeing how debilitating the complications of the disease can be first hand has set me on a mission to make every effort to prevent developing the disease myself, and ignited a passion to make sure others are aware of the disease – and more specifically, its complications.
Moreover, as a health and wellness professional, I want to ensure people know what measures can be taken to reduce risk of developing the disease or, if already diagnosed, to successfully manage it. I will be sharing info about diabetes – its various types, and complications. Please feel free to share with others.
